PROJECT AWAKENING: Programs and Services

(Geared to raise awareness, provide solutions, hope, information, and enlightenment)

The annual PROJECT AWAKENING: “WALK AGAINST VIOLENCE”, which gathers the community and various organizations to come together in order to develop solutions and bring awareness to the issues that need to be addressed, and to allow for the networking necessary to build a strong community support base.

The Awakening Life Lessons curriculum is targeted to be used in schools nationwide.  This curriculum enlightens, informs and engages the youth by dealing with and providing real life solutions to problems such as: drugs, violence, peer pressure, sex, parenting, relationships and much more.

DRAMA Guild:  Because purpose is the best defense against violence  (which comes from idleness and the failure to find ones purpose) our neighborhood drama guild will help to develop those who have an interest in drama. This will include acting classes, scene study, voiceover training, and the various aspects of arts and film, including editing, camera training, script writing, theater, production, post production, lighting, make up, set design and drama.

BILLIONAIRE MINDS SCHOLARSHIPS: Project Awakening is partnering with Billionaire Minds to provide scholarships to the most deserving students and entrepreneurs in the underserved areas to achieve their dreams of attending college, and/or starting businesses.

PROJECT AWAKENING FILMS: Project Awakening Film productions are geared towards bringing enlightenment, entertainment, and information to the underserved communities in a way that will speak to their concerns by using the music, language, and culture to convey key messages and maintain awareness of the concerns that plaque our youth and our society.

PROJECT AWAKENING PARTNERSHIPS: PROJECT AWAKENING also partners and supports other key community organizations that are fighting against all types of violence.
